(ANSA) - BUENOS AIRES, DEC 30 - The Argentine Senate has approved the law on termination of pregnancy with 38 votes in favor and 29 against.
Historic decision, which places the country among the few in South America where abortion is legal.
The vote on the measure, already approved by the Chamber of Deputies, took place after a debate that lasted over 12 hours during which some uncertain senators decided to support the government's proposal. (ANSA).
