(ANSA) - TEL AVIV, 31 DEC - In 2020 Israel hit about 50 targets in Syria.
This was revealed by the annual report released by the IDF, the Israeli army, which details the picture of operations on the various fronts, starting with that in Syria.
On the contiguous Lebanese border, Hezbollah made 2 attempts to bring attacks into the territory of the Jewish state, both of which were foiled.
From Gaza - continued the Report - in 2020 176 rockets were fired at Israel, which it responded by hitting about 300 targets in the Strip.
In total - and despite the pandemic - the army said there were 60 terrorist attacks in the West Bank against Israeli targets, more than last year when they were 51 but less than 76 in 2018 and 75 in 2017. Among the 60, 9 stabbings, 31 firearm attacks (12 in 2019), 1,500 stone throwing and 229 Molotov cocktails.

Over 3,000 reservists were called in to support the Front and around 380,000 packs of food were distributed to citizens during the crisis.
