Coronavirus in Argentina: 212 deaths and 20,906 cases confirmed in the last three days

The Ministry of Health of the Nation confirmed this Saturday 212 deaths and 20,906 new cases of coronavirus in the last three days.

In this way, Argentina has accumulated 43,375 fatalities and 1,634,834 infections since the arrival of the pandemic in the country.

The data corresponds to a new report on the health portfolio, which includes data from the last day of 2020 and the first two of 2021.

The part of the health portfolio specifies that in the last 24 hours 5,240 new cases were reported, while on December 31 and January 1, which was not reported, 15,666 infections were recorded.

In relation to the deceased, 56 were notified in the last 24 hours and 156 were registered between December 31 and January 1.

In addition, it was reported that in the last 24 hours, 17,270 tests were carried out and since the beginning of the outbreak, 4,897,167 diagnostic tests for this disease were carried out, which is equivalent to 107,922 samples per million inhabitants.

Regarding the occupation of intensive care beds, in the country it reaches 52.9% and in the AMBA it reaches 56.9%.

Currently there are 3,438 people who have coronavirus and require care in the so-called critical beds.
