The capital has 70 community gardens in 16 neighborhoods across the city (Photo: BeeTravel)

You will not believe what can be done in 1,000 meters from the house: a charming venture created these days for the third closure, offers a walk in one of the dozens of community gardens of the capital, with guidance and free of charge.

All you need is your cell phone.

In Jerusalem, there are currently about 70 community gardens in 16 neighborhoods throughout the city.

A community garden was established out of an organization of the local community to promote the quality of life.

The garden is established and maintained with the participation of the community and for its sake, combines different populations and is open to everyone.

In addition, the garden allows for the creation and strengthening of the community and allows immediate access to nature, strengthening the connection to the land and sustainable life in the city as well as a meeting between different populations and turning neglected areas into orchards.

The gardens have a variety of herbs, seasonal vegetables, fruit trees and seating areas.

An experience of farming, co-creation, society and culture.

Not a standard hiking trail

The travel company BeeTravel - content, through experience - has developed in the past year (even before the corona bursts into our lives) an interface of guided tours with the mobile.

The interface is very easy to use, very suitable for individuals and couples, families with children and groups in capsules, as a gift for workplaces and more.

The company enlisted the initiative to photograph and launch a free tour of the community gardens, out of a desire to contribute its share to the community through the unveiling of a venture that truly enhances the lives of all of us, suitable for the current period and reveals non-standard hiking trails.

BeeTravel itself finances all production of the tour and its maintenance on the platform.

The company has additional tours in this interface, around the country and for a fee.

If you have a small piece of land near your place of residence, let's see how to make it a real paradise.
