(ANSAmed) - TEL AVIV, JANUARY 03 - Hundreds of far-right Jewish activists returned tonight to demonstrate in the streets of Jerusalem, calling for an impartial investigation into the death of a comrade who two weeks ago was the victim of a road accident in the West Bank while being chased by police.

"They killed a brother, we do not forget, we do not forgive" the demonstrators said.

In recent evenings in Jerusalem they have repeatedly clashed with police, ripped up fences and attacked passers-by and Palestinian property.

Meanwhile, in the West Bank, a 40-year-old Jewish mother, RivkaTeitel, was seriously injured in the head today by stones thrown into her car by Palestinians posted on the side of a road.

The two children who were with her remained unharmed.

The woman is the wife of an Israeli of American origin, Jack Teitel, who serves two life sentences for killing two Palestinians in the 1980s and for carrying out an attack on a left-wing Israeli professor.

But according to the media, the Palestinian assailants (who came from the village of Deir Nizam) were ignorant of the woman's identity.
