The Ministry of Health published this evening (Sunday) the picture of the spread of the corona virus in Israel.
According to the data, 4,141 new carriers were identified in the last day, which is 5.5% of the tests performed (75,713 total).
The number of active patients in Israel currently stands at 48,366 people.
The number of people hospitalized is 1,295 people, of whom 225 are in moderate condition and 761 in severe condition.
Of the difficult patients - 255 in critical condition, and 209 respirators.
The number of medical staff in isolation is 4,305, of whom 522 are doctors and 1,146 are nurses.
The death toll from the plague is 3,412.

The British mutation: seven new verified in Israel
A further statement issued by the Ministry of Health this evening stated that according to additional flooring results performed for the English variant (the "British mutation") for the Corona virus, out of 96 samples, seven positive samples were received for the variant from Givat Zeev, Jerusalem and Bnei Brak.
As far as is known, this is an infection without a background of traveling abroad.
To date, Israel has identified a total of about 30 cases of the British mutation, of which six have returned from abroad.
The Ministry of Health also notes that there are currently another 300 samples from all over the country that are in the process of paving, as part of the national system for genetic paving established by the Ministry of Health.
