There you can see how the Tactical Unit for Immediate Operations (UTOI), an elite group of the Buenos Aires police that is now part of the Sol operation on the Atlantic coast, with its ATVs among the young people to disperse them.
It is observed how several of them undertake the retreat to the bullfights and how others resist, still keeping their chairs and their refrigerators in place, undeterred.
The young people did not respect social distancing, they were without a chinstrap and all grouped together drinking and dancing near the sea.
The episode
did not produce arrests or injuries
, according to the authorities of the municipality of Pinamar.
But it generated even more indignation in the residents of the city and a strong repudiation on social networks.

In Pinamar, one of the most visited tourist centers during the summer, the year had started with a curious image: dozens of police officers guarding the entrance to the beach, which was not allowed for the arrival of January 1.
During the day of that first day of the year, there was also an unprecedented security operation.
There were patrols in the streets and between lounge chairs to prevent or disperse the adolescent gatherings.

"We had warned them that if they did not withdraw, we were going to have to proceed to kidnap the refrigerators and other materials," an officer told Clarín.
It was the second time that on Friday the 1st they approached the closest public entrance to the Parador Boutique, where around 200 boys between 14 and 18 years old danced.
There, after the complaint of other people who wanted to enjoy the beach following the protocols, a third visit by the police ended with the hijacking of the speakers and a new request for dispersal.
The actions of the security forces on the beaches of Pinamar are part of the Sol 2020/2021 operation that the provincial government renewed to guarantee not only security on the coast but also respect for pandemic prevention regulations.

Police sources informed

that in this last party, led by the mayor of Cambiemos, Martín Yeza, a total of 900 police officers from the province are involved.
Among them, there are 150 agents from the Pinamar police stations, 150 members of the Special Operations Forces (FOE) groups, and personnel from the Siniestral Police, Cavalry and Infantry.
