(ANSA) - MILAN, 04 JAN - Green light for the design of the modern collections and the construction of the new staircase at Palazzo Citterio: the technical-scientific committees involved in the Directorate General for Fine Arts and Landscape have given a positive opinion to the project presented by James Bradburne, director of the Pinacoteca di Brera and the Braidense Library and its team. The idea is to be able to open Palazzo Citterio to the public at the end of 2022, i.e. 50 years after its acquisition.
"2021 begins with good news - declares James Bradburn to ANSA - The letter arrived in the late afternoon of 30 December, as if it were the perfect start of the new year. Now we can complete the project that Milan has been waiting for almost 50 years". (HANDLE).
