(ANSA-AFP) - WADI AD-DAWASIR, JAN 04 - The Qatari pilot Nasser Al Attiyah, who also practices other sports and was Olympic bronze 2012 in skeet shooting (sport in which he participated in 6 editions of the Games), won the second stage of the Dakar rally at the wheel of a Toyota, from Bisha to Wadi ad-Dawasir along 457 km in 4 hours 03'14 ". In second and third place the two most accredited rivals of the Qatari for the final victory, or the French Stephane Peterhansel and the Spaniard Carlos Sainz, both in Mini. In sixth place the multiple Rally Sebastian Loeb, in Buggy Pro Drive.
Peterhansel leads the car classification, with 6'37 "ahead of Sainz and 9" '14 "on Al Attiyah.
Among the bikes today the Spaniard Joan Barreda won, who on the Honda of Monster Energy preceded his teammate Ricky Brabec by 3'55 "and the Chilean Pablo Quintanilla, on the Husqvarna of Rockstar Energy at 6'02".
