Iran: Aiea confirms start of uranium enrichment at 20%

(ANSA) - TEHRAN, 04 JAN - The International Atomic Energy Agency (Aiea) has confirmed that Iran has started the process of enriching uranium to 20%, as announced by Tehran.

"Iran started today introducing 4.1% enriched uranium 235 into six cascade centrifuges at the Fordo enrichment plant," the IAEA said in a statement.
