In the British show, a famous singer hid under the seahorse costume, and the judges were especially shocked when they found out who it was.
The reality show "The Singer in the Mask" has conquered many countries, and it seems that at any given time an episode of the successful show is broadcast somewhere in the world.
The second season of the British version has just begun, and in an episode that aired yesterday (Sunday), none other than the "Spice Girls" star - Mel B, who was hiding under an invested costume of a seahorse, was revealed.
The judges and audience seemed even more surprised than usual, though some did suspect it was.
"I thought I hid myself pretty well with the voice and the movements," she explained, "I tried not to be me."
Judge Rita Ora Pargana: "Sometimes when you are an icon, you are just an icon."
Program host Joel Domett wondered what the rest of the band's girls had to say about her appearing in the show, but she of course replied that she could not tell them.
Finally, Mel performed the song she sang in the episode again - another nineties star's hit, "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" by Kylie Minogue - before breaking up with the show.
The first season of "The Singer in the Mask" in the UK has provided exposures from singers like Cleese and C-Lou Green, and we will continue to follow the exposures later in the season.
