Tanya Roberts, Bond girl and star of 'That' 70s Show ', has died at 65

Actress Tanya Roberts, who appeared in the 1985 James Bond film 'A View to a Kill,' has been hospitalized since December 24.

, an American actress and 'Bond girl', died in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 65, after being hospitalized for several days.

Roberts' representative confirmed to 'TMZ' that the actress died on Sunday, January 3, after she fainted at home on December 24 after going for a walk with her dogs.

At the hospital, Tanya was connected to a ventilator for respiratory assistance, but she no longer recovered from the health problem she had, which was not related to COVID-19, according to the aforementioned medium.

The actress of Irish and Jewish descent, was born on October 15, 1955 and grew up in the New York borough of the Bronx.

At the age of 15, she dropped out of school and went to

 hitchhike

across the country

with a young man she married.

Tanya Roberts annulled her marriage and returned to New York, where she enrolled at the Actors Studio to train as an actress.

His first jobs were as an advertising model for television and then he joined some productions on the so-called Off Broadway.

Her debut on the big screen occurred in 1975 with the

 in the last season of 'Charlie's Angels', who played Julie Rogers, a young woman who was learned to fight with her fists in the streets.

After that came other successful tapes: 'The Beastmaster', 1982, directed by

In 1985 she became a Bond girl in the film 'A View to a Kill', which is the fourteenth film based on James Bond and the last in which

One of her most recent roles was on the series' That '70s Show', where she played Midge Pinciotti, Donna's mother, played by Laura Prepon.

In 2001, she left the program to care for her husband Barry Roberts, who died in 2006 after fighting for more than four years with encephalitis, a condition caused by inflammation of the brain.
