(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, JAN 4 - The US will continue to ask for the extradition of Assange. This was stated in a statement by the spokesman for the US Department of Justice, Marc Raimondi.
"Although we are extremely disappointed with the final decision of the court - he explains - we are pleased that the United States has prevailed on every question of law raised. In particular, the court rejected all of Mr. Assanger's arguments concerning political motivation, political crime, due process and freedom of speech. We will continue to ask for Assange's extradition to the United States. " (HANDLE).
