Anyone who has seen an American movie or series about Christmas is familiar with the procedure - according to Christian custom every winter, Santa Claus harnesses eight winged reindeer to a snowmobile, and on Christmas Eve they ride it in the sky, passing house.
In any home that has good children, the sledge lands on the roof.
Santa Claus goes down the chimney, placing holiday presents under the Christmas tree, or in socks left outside especially for him.
The gifts are made in a magical workshop at the North Pole, which employs dwarves.
But if the kids at home were bad during the year, Santa Claus leaves them coals instead of gifts.
How does he know who was good and who was bad?
Well (if one ignores the work that there is no Santa Claus and whoever is responsible for these gifts the parents) then the belief is that Mr. Klaus maintains a discipline list in which it is written how each child behaved in that year.
This naughty list is the best bargaining chip that every Christian parent uses to ensure his or her children behave accordingly while preparing for Christmas.
But when this list was received indifferently by one mother's children, she decided to teach them a lesson - something that was not really received sympathetically among other parents, some of whom criticized her harshly.
The mother was not content with anger towards her children, she also left them a note from Santa with an ultimatum.
The note read: "Santa is very disappointed in you because you were not good kids this year and entered the list of bad kids. So instead of the treats and toys I made for you, you will not get anything."

"If you want to be on the best list next year, you need to: Listen to your mom and do what she tells you. Stop screaming and yelling, be kind to each other and stop lying to your mom. This is your last chance, make sure you listen. Santa."
The mother posted a picture of the note on Facebook, writing that she bought her children lots of treats and gifts, but was angry at them for "not listening or doing the right things."
Some parents praised her for standing up to her threats and one wrote: "Bad behavior does not deserve a positive reward. You did a good thing and taught them a lesson."
But there were many parents who criticized her harshly when one wrote to her: "That's why the magic of Christmas fades away. Do not use Santa as a way to punish. It is not fair, it comes once a year. I can not imagine my children reading something like that."
