will consist of five episodes. (HANDLE). (HANDLE)

"The suspect plays Lupine. The method, the spirit, the style, the talent".

It is an exemplary phrase of the show about the protagonist's desire for revenge to bring on stage a character as close to the famous gentleman thief.

The wait is over: the French action series 'Lupine', by Netflix, arrives on the streaming platform from 8 January: a modern interpretation of the adventures of ArsèneLupin, a character created by Maurice Marie Émile Leblanc in 1905.

In the contemporary version it will be Omar Sy, already beloved protagonist of 'Quasi Amici', the protagonist.

It is an adaptation in a modern key, able to transpose the character of Lupine to the present day: the protagonist recovers the literary spirit, taking inspiration from some of the most famous tales of Leblanc and placing them in a current context, in an entirely original story.

As a teenager, Assane Diop had to deal with a difficult life after his father died following the accusation of a crime he did not commit.

But 25 years later, Assane will use the name of Arsène Lupine, the gentleman thief, as an inspiration to avenge her father.

In the cast, in addition to Omar Sy, there are Hervé Pierre, NicoleGarcia, Clotilde Hesme, Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, ShirineBoutella and Soufiane Guerrab.

The series, produced by GaumontTélévision (Isabelle Degeorges, Nathan Franck), was created by George Kay in collaboration with François Uzan and directed by Louis Leterrier (episodes 1, 2 and 3) and Marcela Said (episodes 4 and 5).

The first part - Dans l'ombre d'Arsène - will consist of five episodes.
