(by Emanuela De Crescenzo) (ANSA) - ROME, 05 JAN - Tired teenagers (31%), uncertain (17%), worried (17%), almost one in two (46%) is convinced that they have "wasted" a year and one in three that their school preparation has worsened and in 35% of cases they have to recover more subjects than last year.

With an increasingly concrete risk of dropping out of school: 28% say that since the beginning of the pandemic at least one classmate in their class has stopped attending school.

Difficulty in connecting and lack of concentration are among the main causes of absences during Dad.

The estimate is that at least 34 thousand high school students, due to prolonged absences, could find themselves at risk of dropping out of school.

It is the portrait of adolescents who have lived for almost a year forced home away from classrooms, engaged in Dad, often without playing sports or other activities, seeing little friends and loves, which outlines a survey carried out by Ipsos for Save The Children on a sample of 1000 students aged 14 to 18 entitled "Young people in the time of Coronavirus".

According to the survey, young people feel excluded from the choices for combating the spread of Covid: 65% are convinced to pay themselves for the inability of adults to manage the pandemic, 43% feel accused by adults of being among the main spreaders of the infection, while 42% believe it is unfair that adults are allowed to go to work when they are not allowed to go to school.

Almost a quarter of teenagers (23%) say that, in this pandemic year, they have realized that going out isn't all that important and that relationships can also be maintained online.

On the other hand, however, 85% of the boys interviewed stated instead of having understood how important it is to go out with friends.

Among the "deprivations" that the boys have suffered most, also that of not having been able to live sentimental experiences important for their age (63%).
