(ANSA) - TOKYO, 05 JAN - The Tokyo Stock Exchange starts trading in negative, in the wake of what happened on Wall Street during the night and on the expectations of an imminent entry into force of a new state of emergency in Tokyo and in the adjacent prefectures from the weekend, with its implications for the economy.


    The Nikkei benchmark index lost 0.68% to 27.258.38, with a loss of 185 points. On the currency market, the loyen strengthens against the dollar at 103.10, and against the euro at 126.30.
