In Cairo, the manager of a spa offers a surprising formula of massages made with living reptiles.
Adrenaline, caused by anxiety, would have relaxing virtues and would relax the skin and muscles, thus offering a more in-depth work of the body.
"The objective is to stimulate blood circulation, to relax the muscles and the mind", explains Safwat Sedki, the manager of the spa, who specifies massaging with non-poisonous snakes.
If some customers were dubious, the formula seduced more than one.
"The most conquered are those who were most afraid of reptiles", assures the person in charge.
“I was nervous at first, but I relaxed as I felt the animals glide over me,” says a young man lying comfortably on the massage table, with several snakes intertwined on his back.
