Neil Young sells half of his catalog

(ANSA) - NEW YORK, JAN 06 - Neil Young follows BobDylan's example.

The Canadian-born American singer-songwriter and guitarist has sold half of his musical catalog to the British Hipgnosis Songs Fund.

Terms of the deal have not yet been revealed.

Young's catalog includes nearly 1,200 songs, and Hipgnosis bought the rights of half for cash.

    For the group founded in 2018 this is the third deal in a week.

A few days ago he bought the catalogs of Fleetwood Mac ex-guitarist Lindsay Buckingham and producer Jimmy Iovine.
