(ANSA-AFP) - DUBLIN, 06 JAN - Due to the pandemic, schools in Ireland will be closed at least until the end of January.
This was announced by the Irish Prime Minister, Micheal Martin.
Schools in Ireland will close for the rest of the month as a "tsunami of infection" threatens to overwhelm the health service, the premier said.
"We simply have to suppress this wave", added Martin, addressing reporters in Dublin, announcing a series of new anti-Covid-19 restrictions (ANSA-AFP).
