This was stated to ANSA by the mayor of Tarvisio (Udine) RenzoZanette, regarding the news of the evacuation of a nursery school, threatened by the roof of an adjacent building, bent by the weight of the snow, as reported in a note from the CNSAS.
"We received the report from the Cooperative that manages the structure and we immediately activated the Civil Protection and Alpine Rescue to proceed with the reclamation. This is a preventive activity that requires the intervention of specialists".
According to what has been learned, at 14.30 a request was made to 112 of the regional operations room of the Sores in order to manage the situation. "I want to reassure everyone - said the mayor: not wanting to underestimate any kind of risk, we asked the Alpine Rescue to clean up the roof, just as the volunteers did these days for other public buildings.
