The Bavarian police have broken a blockade to protest against the corona measures on a motorway in Middle Franconia.
Eight cars, some of which were labeled and provided with flags and signs, drove on Wednesday afternoon at low speed on the Autobahn 73 between Erlangen and Nuremberg and thus obstructed traffic, as the officials in Nuremberg announced.
Other drivers had to brake hard and could not drive past.
The police initially secured the convoy and stopped them later.
The officials initiated investigations into, among other things, coercion and danger to road traffic.
They also brought several violations of the law of assembly to the display.
The vehicles involved in the action were confiscated.
On a company car park in Fürth, police discovered another five vehicles that were marked in a similar way.
Investigations have also been initiated in this connection.
