Instead, the management of the station will launch "The great voices of Europe 1", a new program of analysis and political decryption p

“Thanks to Stéphane Fouks, vice-president of Havas.

Thanks to you Catherine.

And next Saturday, we'll see you live for Mediapolis.

This is how Olivier Duhamel made the antenna of Europe 1, Saturday January 2.

It was two days before the revelations (first in The World and in The Obs) of his stepdaughter, Camille Kouchner, who accuses him of sexual assault on his twin brother and delivers a devastating account of the incest and the silence that surrounded him in “La familia grande”.

A media bomb, failing to be judicial - the facts being prescribed - which automatically dismissed Olivier Duhamel from Europe 1 (and LCI).

But what about “Mediapolis”, which he launched in 2007 with Michel Field and which he co-presented with Catherine Nay since the start of the school year?

Rather than finding a successor to Olivier Duhamel, the management of Europe 1 preferred to stop this cult program, too identified with the 70-year-old political scientist.

According to our information, it is therefore a brand new program which will be on the air on Saturday from 10 to 11 am: “The great voices of Europe 1”.

The concept remains centered on the analysis and decryption of the political life of the past week, with regard to past events.

A quartet of political experts

At the presentation: journalist Sébastien Guyot, all-terrain journalist and editor-in-chief of several sections of the weekend, also host of the podcast “Le son de vie”.

He will have at his side a quartet of political experts.

We will notably find Catherine Nay, but also Michèle Cotta, Charles Villeneuve and Gérard Carreyrou.

Since 2007, Olivier Duhamel played “Mediapolis” on Europe 1. First in a duet with Michel Field until 2015, then with Natacha Polony for two years, before giving way to Geraldine Muhlmann for one season.

From 2018 to 2019, the historical presenter was alone on the air, before being finally accompanied by Catherine Nay, in September.
