Originally, the 2021 winter sales were to start on Wednesday, January 6, for a period of four weeks.
But the current health situation has once again motivated the government to postpone this highly anticipated promotional operation.
On December 4, 2020, it was Minister Delegate for SMEs Alain Griset who announced that the 2021 winter sales will take place from Wednesday January 20 to Tuesday February 16, 2021 in all the departments of mainland France, as well as in Guadeloupe and Martinique.
These new dates also concern sales on the Internet, which will also take place over four weeks.
As a reminder, the 2020 summer sales had also been postponed, so the current situation is not surprising, and it ultimately has the advantage of allowing buyers wishing to make the best deals during this period not to having to prepare for it in a hurry, just after the end of the year celebrations already very high in expenditure.
In the end, this change of dates can therefore be beneficial!
