(ANSA-AFP) - PARIS, 08 JAN - 2020 was the hottest year ever recorded worldwide, on a par with 2016: a year that closed a decade of record temperatures and evidence of global warming.
Copernicus Climate Change Service, the earth observation program of the European Union, announced today.
2020 recorded 1.25 degrees centigrade more than in the pre-industrial period, just as it did four years ago.
