While the Greeks were happy about the summer temperatures, the Spaniards were battling the worst snow storm in 50 years.
In the Spanish capital Madrid, up to 60 centimeters of snow fell, and more than 400 country roads and highways had to be closed on Saturday.
At least four people were killed due to the snow masses.
