"Sex and the City" is being reissued.

HBO Max will produce a new chapter with the series "And Just Like That" based on the book "Sex and the City" and the original TV series, the Warner streaming service announced on Sunday.

Sarah Jessica Parker, 55, Cynthia Nixon, 54, and Kristin Davis, 55, are on board as leading actresses and executive producers.

Parker plays columnist Carrie Bradshaw again, Davis plays the brunette Charlotte York and Cynthia Nixon plays the red-haired lawyer Miranda Hobbes.

Kim Cattrall, 64, in the role of bitchy Samantha Jones is missing from the original cast of the cult series about New York women and their love affairs.

The revival is intended to follow the three friends on their journey "from the complicated reality of life and friendships in their thirties" to the "even more complicated reality" from 50, according to the announcement.

Ten half-hour episodes are planned to start shooting in New York in late spring.

Parker, Davis and Nixon posted a small video teaser with scenes from Manhattan on Instagram on Sunday.

"Everything is possible.

I'll meet you there! ”Wrote Davis.

"I was wondering ... where are you now?" Commented Parker.

The multiple award-winning HBO series ran in the USA from 1998 to 2004. This was followed by the feature films "Sex and the City - The Film" (2008) and "Sex and the City 2" (2010).
