499,362 people have been diagnosed with the corona virus since the outbreak of the plague in Israel last year, the Ministry of Health updated tonight (Monday).

According to the ministry's update as of 5:29 PM, there are currently 71,557 active Corona patients in Israel - 6,897 of whom were diagnosed yesterday.
In addition, 97,235 tests were performed yesterday, so that the rate of positive results yesterday stands at 7.2%.
Since midnight, 80,913 tests have been performed to detect the virus, 5,861 of which have been found to be positive - and the percentage of positive results is 7.2.
There are currently 1,733 patients in Israel hospitalized in the corona wards of hospitals across the country.
1,065 of the patients are in critical condition, 326 in critical condition and 262 respirators.
Since the outbreak in the country, 3,695 people have died from the virus.
The number of health staff members who are in isolation or infected in Corona stands at 5,458 people, 578 of whom are doctors and 1,391 are brothers and sisters.
To date, 1,819,328 people have been vaccinated against the virus.
