The cities that are best to work from were ranked: Tel Aviv is also on the list

Special project of the tourist site Big Seven Travel: These are the 50 cities in the world that are the best (and fun) to work from.

Tel Aviv is also on the list, thanks to "delightful food scenes, amazing beaches, cultural experiences and excellent internet infrastructure."

But the city's rating is relatively low because of one particularly frustrating matter

Especially these days, it is not surprising that the whole field of remote work in general and the "digital nomad" in particular is growing considerably.

More and more people around the world are looking for the perfect combination between remote work and being in a different, new, interesting place full of experiences.

So too is the growing number of digital nomads - all they need to continue their work is a laptop, a power point and of course, a Wi-Fi connection.

A special project of the tourism site Big Seven Travel ranked the 50 best (and most fun) cities in the world for digital nomads.

To compile the list, a strict ranking was made of criteria such as availability and accessibility of wireless networks, the presence of friendly and cool shared workspaces in the various destinations, general atmosphere in those destinations and the possibility of obtaining a specific residence visa from the destination country.

So if you are still undecided - you have no choice but to choose.

Tallinn and Tbilisi at the top

The first place on the list is occupied by the city of

Tallinn

, the capital of Estonia.

The rating editors note that in recent years the local government has approved issuances of special visas for digital nomads, who are invited to stay at the destination for a period of up to a year.

All this, along with the fact that "Tallinn is a city dripping with charm, tends to surprise all the time and sometimes its stay seems like a customer from a Baltic folk legend," as the list's editors noted.

In second place is

Tbilisi

, the capital of Georgia, which in recent years has made many moves in favor of attracting digital nomads to it.

Beyond the great accessibility to the network, it offers varied food scenes and mostly historical stories.

Another interesting destination in the top ten comes in the form of

Hanoi

, the capital of Vietnam.

Its accommodation prices are low and it is packed with cheap co-working spaces, into which a bustling community of digital nomads from all over the world drains.

Tel Aviv: Lots of advantages, one notable disadvantage

The 22nd place is occupied by

Dubai

, the 25th place

Tokyo

, the 28th place Marrakesh in Morocco, and a little behind it -

Tel Aviv

, which is ranked 30th out of 50. "The city is considered a cultural destination, and is one of the most vibrant cities in the basin. The Mediterranean, "the editors noted.

"This is not only due to the excellent weather, the delightful food scenes, the amazing beaches and the cultural experiences - but also due to the fact that Tel Aviv is one of the best places to work remotely, also thanks to the fast internet."

Other advantages that have earned Tel Aviv its ranking in the ranking include the level of safety in the city, the ease of getting from place to place on foot and of course - the presence of many free Wi-Fi networks.

However, what seems to have lowered the overall rating level of the city is the high rental prices, relative to other destinations on the list.

Thus, it was noted that the price of renting a single bedroom, stands at $ 1,500 per month.

"However, the city's rich history, reliable internet infrastructure and relaxed atmosphere make it a great choice for remote workers," the project noted.

The list of 50 is closed by

Las Palmas

in the Canary Islands (Spain),

Mexico City in

Mexico and the city of

Wellington in

New Zealand.
