During the crisis, the prices continue!
Certain to come to the aid, more than ever, to the artistic scene and its actors who are very heavily deprived of exhibitions, meetings and therefore of resources, the art prizes support more than ever their objectives as patrons.
And scramble to defend, each, their line, their history and their favorites, at all costs.
The first of them, the Marcel-Duchamp Prize, has not sacrificed its habits.
The hanging of the twentieth anniversary at the Center Pompidou, barely inaugurated within the contemporary collections, has been suspended by the closure of museums since October.
And this prize, which intends to challenge the famous Turner Prize (increasingly conceptual) of the British, had, like other art events, to comply with the new constraints of public health.
Gilles Fuchs, president of the ADIAF, unveiled on Instagram on Thursday the names of the four artists competing for the 21st edition of the Marcel-Duchamp Prize.
