(ANSA) - ROME, 12 JAN - There are 14,242 positive swabs for alcoronavirus in Italy in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
The victims are 616 (yesterday the positives were 12,532 and the dead 448).
141,641 swabs were performed, yesterday the tests were 91,656.
The positivity rate is 10.05%, a warmer than yesterday's 13.6%.
In total, since the beginning of the epidemic, there are 2,303,263 cases in Italy, 79,819 victims.
The currently positive are 570,040 (-5,939 compared to yesterday), the discharged and healed 1,653,404 (+19,565).
There are 6 fewer patients in intensive care, in the balance between entries and exits.
The daily admissions to resuscitation are 196, bringing the total to 2,636.
Patients with symptoms in ordinary wards increased by 109 units, bringing the total to 23,712.
There are 543,692 people in home isolation, 6,042 fewer than yesterday.
The regions with the highest number of positive swabs in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health, are: Veneto 2,134, Sicily 1,913, Emilia Romagna 1,563, Lazio 1,381, Puglia 1,261, Lombardy 1,146.
