The social and medico-social sector is mobilizing this Tuesday.
At the call of the CFDT, professionals of old age, disability or even home help have planned to go on strike throughout France.
They accuse the government of not having transposed to their sector the advances obtained within the framework of the Ségur de la santé agreements for the hospital public service.

“
The text is intended to extend to agents and employees of social establishments and medico-social services.
To date, nothing seems to be organized in this direction and this leads the agents to doubt the real will of the government to repair this injustice
”, writes the CFDT in a letter addressed to Amélie de Montchalin, Minister of Transformation and the Public Service.
"
You can easily understand that it is not understandable that an agent exercising similar functions, but in the structures of the social and medico-social fields, cannot benefit from it today, with the exception of those of accommodation establishments for dependent elderly people
”.
Rally in front of the Ministry of Health
The strike call, which has been running since Monday January 11 at 8 p.m., is to continue until Wednesday January 13 at 8 a.m.
It concerns all the personnel concerned from local authorities and social and medico-social establishments.
At the same time, several events are planned throughout France.
In Paris, the rally is scheduled for 12:30 pm in front of the Ministry of Health.
"
Our demand is that the timetable for negotiations for the follow-up to the Ségur de la santé in the social and medico-social fields opens, without further ado,
" explains the CFDT.
In particular, it requires a "
reflection
" on "
a national policy for the disability and child protection sector
", but also "
sufficient staff ratios
" in all the activities of the sector as well as a "
Salary recognition equivalent to that of the health sector
".
