Edelstein added that "at the same time we are in a wave of illness that is very worrying. The closure should give the positive results within a few days. But this will only happen if there is cooperation. .
Prof. Ash: "Hopefully we can start easing on time"
Meanwhile, Corona Commissioner Prof. Nachman Ash commented this morning in an interview with 103FM on the morbidity data.
"I very much hope we can get out of quarantine as scheduled for next Thursday," Ash said.
"There is a possibility, if it seems that the numbers of the verified and the seriously ill do not go down, that we will recommend the extension of the closure. I hope we will not be there."
Regarding the immunization operation, Prof. Ash said: "By mid-March we are expected to reach five million vaccinators. It is estimated that we will be able to vaccinate people aged 12 and over within two months. We are waiting for FDA research and approval."
