"I am in a hurry for the trial to take place because it will be a tour page.
A moment which will mark the last stage of its reconstruction.
Almost two years ago, Melyssa was attacked by three girls her age, who had burned her hair.
“That day, they took away my femininity and my dignity,” recalls the young girl, now 18 years old.
For two years, she often thinks about this aggression, proof according to her that she is not completely cured.
“When I smooth my hair, I'm scared.
The heat too close to my head reminds me of that day, ”she says.
"Exemplary sanction"
Accompanied by her mother Rekkia, who supported her and assisted her during her long journey, Melyssa expects a lot from justice.
“We want them to have the sanction they deserve.
For Melyssa, but also for all those who were attacked and who did not say anything ”, explains Rekkia.
Because it is not for the two women of an individual fight: “We await an exemplary sanction to dissuade all the other aggressors.
If it happened to Melyssa, it could happen to others ”.
From now on, they plan to create an association to help the victims, to direct them towards the good mediators and interlocutors.
The young woman also plans to intervene in schools to tell her story and encourage victims to speak out.
“I would like to give them all the strength I have found”.
