President-elect Joe Biden and future Vice-President Kamala Harris will be honored with a TV special on the evening of January 20, the day of their inauguration.
The US media such as "Variety", "Hollywood Reporter" or "Rolling Stone" announced with reference to the planning committee.
It should be a festive end to the inauguration day.
The star-studded program entitled "Celebrating America" will be moderated by actor Tom Hanks.
With the popular host Hanks, the show should fit the main theme of the celebrations.
It's "America United," the Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) announced on Monday.
In any case, most of the major TV channels in the USA are united: ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and MSNBC will broadcast the program (after 2:30 a.m. in German time);
There will also be numerous Internet streams, including on Fox's breaking news channel News Now.
According to "Variety", however, the show "The Masked Dancer" should run in the main Fox program.
The program will include Jon Bon Jovi and Demi Lovato, who already announced her appearance on Twitter.
Justin Timberlake will sing a new song with Ant Clemons called "Better Days", with which he "wants to encourage everyone to remain hopeful and continue to work for a better future," as he wrote on his social media channels.

Of course, the newly introduced Biden and Harris should also speak to the TV viewers on the show.
The TV special was developed because the corona pandemic meant that many of the traditional events related to the inauguration had to be canceled - including live concerts and the big parade on the way from the Capitol to the White House.

"This inauguration is a unique opportunity to show the resilience and spirit of a united America," said organizing committee chairman Tony Allen.
