The expectations for the next few months for the Italian economy "maintain a high degree of uncertainty, but in December the confidence of households and businesses recorded an improvement".
Istat writes it, pointing out the severe impact of the pandemic on industry: in comparison with February 2020, the seasonally adjusted index of industrial production is 3.5% lower.
According to S&P forecasts, in 2021 the GDP in Europe will tell "two stories" with a probable contraction in the first half of the year and a strong recovery in the second, while in Italy in 2021 there will be a growth of the GDP of 5.3% .
