From Monday, January 18, the vaccination campaign against Covid-19 enters a new phase: people over 75 who do not live in nursing homes will be able to receive the injection (in Nancy, in Meurthe-et-Moselle this phase started early on Wednesday).
The government wanted to make the process “as simple as possible”.

How to receive your first injection?

How to make an appointment?

Sante.fr will be the official, supported by the private sites Doctolib, Maiia and KelDoc.
A free toll-free number, unveiled during the day, will be used to support your procedures, but not for making appointments.
In addition, a "voucher", such as that for the flu vaccination, will be sent by Health Insurance to all eligible people.

Will we have the choice of the center?

Will we be stuck?

As soon as you accept the vaccination, you will automatically appear in a large file called “Si vaccine Covid” (Covid vaccine information system).
Your identity, the date, the hospital or center where you received your injection, the batch number of the vaccine, the name of the caregiver, everything will be written there.
Co-managed by the DGS and the Health Insurance, this file allows the health authorities to pilot the campaign, to know, for example, from day to day when there is a shortage of lots or syringes or to be able to warn patients if it is observed that the vaccines administered carry new risks.
It is only if you refuse the vaccination that you can demand that your name, pre-registered automatically in this database, be erased.
