Have you ever wondered how real estate agents imagine their dream property?

And who would be your dream neighbor?

A survey provides information.

  • At 78.4 percent, a broker's dream property is a house.

  • While a whopping 84.3 percent of real estate agents prefer a property near the water - by the lake, sea or river - only 15.7 percent of them dream of a house in the mountains.

  • The three most important extras of the broker dream property are a garden (63.8 percent), a garage (36.8 percent) and a fireplace (34.6 percent).

House or condominium *, large or small, by the water or in the mountains, with or without a garden: when it comes to owning a home, everyone has individual ideas and preferences.

Real estate agents come into contact with this every day as they help make real estate dreams come true.

But

what does a broker's dream property actually look like

?

Where should the dream property be located?

And who would be the favorite neighbor?

McMakler used an online survey to determine the average dream property a broker would have.

Survey shows: This is a broker's dream property

Not surprisingly:

78.4 percent of a

broker's dream property is

a house

, with almost half preferring a single-family home.

While 26.2 percent of respondents dream of a bungalow, 16.6 percent want to call a country house their own.

On the other hand, very few real estate agents, at 7.6 percent, want an apartment building.

The

three most important extras for the broker's dream property

are a garden with 63.8 percent, a garage with 36.8 percent and a fireplace with 34.6 percent.

Surprisingly, an open kitchen only takes fourth place in the ranking with 34.1 percent.

For 30.3 percent of the brokers, a pool is part of the dream property, for a further 26.5 percent a roof terrace.

But future visits are also planned: a guest toilet with 16.2 percent and a guest room with 15.7 percent are also on the broker's wish list.

According to a third of the realtors, a gable roof belongs on the dream house.

Meanwhile, 26.2 percent of those surveyed prefer a flat roof, 17.9 percent a hipped roof and eleven percent would like a monopitch roof.

Another 5.5 percent of brokers favor a thatched roof on their dream property.

In terms of

house facade it like the brokers rather unspectacular

: Almost half (46.9 percent) favors a plaster facade.

But the clinker facade also meets the right taste with a third of the brokers.

In contrast, glass facades (7.6 percent), half-timbered facades (4.8 percent), wooden facades (3.4 percent) and green facades (2.8 percent) are not as popular.

The

ideal property

for 43.8 percent of the brokers

in size from 101 to 150 square meters

.

While 33 percent of those surveyed prefer a dream property between 151 and 200 square meters, 10.3 percent consider 81 to 100 square meters to be sufficient.

For another 9.2 percent of real estate agents, however, it has to be really big - they dream of more than 200 square meters of living space.

A minority of 3.8 percent, on the other hand, is satisfied with 51 to 80 square meters.

For around a third of the real estate agents,

Matthias Schweighöfer

would be

the perfect actor neighbor to live next door.

After all, 22.2 percent of those surveyed would like Christoph Waltz as a neighbor, a fifth of the real estate agents can well imagine living with Elyas M'Barek.

With athletes, Dirk Nowitzki is very popular with 34.1 percent of brokers when it comes to the next-door neighbor.

But also

Thomas Müller

with 26.5 percent and Manuel Neuer with 15.7 percent are popular candidates for next door.
