Tiktok user Anna Dean shared a video of herself in the new dress she ordered online - only she is light years away from what she was promised.
The video went viral, with women's clothing store employees claiming they would use it to explain to customers why they should not buy dresses online.

When it comes to online shopping, there is always a risk that the product you ordered will not meet your expectations.
One way to ensure you get exactly the item you ordered is to do a little research, that is, check out company recommendations, see if the price sounds realistic for what you ordered and read the product review.
However, even after you do all this, you may still end up with an item that does not meet your expectations.
Ticket user Anna Dean shared a photo of herself in a "fancy" dress she purchased, only that reality is years away from the original.
While this is not the first time we have come across “before and after” photos of clothing items ordered online, there is no doubt that such a significant difference from the photo to reality we have not yet seen.
Anna Dean bought a shiny blue dress from the chain for $ 200 and received a costume worth maybe NIS 30.
She shared a video in which she shows off the original and stunning dress she ordered compared to the sheer and uglier dress she received.
She wrote: "I can never trust ordering dresses online again, I swear."

Since the video was posted on Tiktok it has garnered nearly two million views and over 350,000 likes.
One of the stunned spectators replied, "My sister, my jaw has fallen off."
Another wrote: "It's embarrassing because it's not even close."
Another user asked: "Where did you order - that I know not to make the same mistake?".
Employees of women's clothing stores also commented on her video.
One wrote: "I work in a clothing store for special occasions and we tell customers that they should not order online, but they do not believe us and these things happen all the time."
A bridal store spokesman wrote in response: "As a bridal boutique, thank you for sharing this video. It will reduce the amount of times I had to explain to people that the place you are ordering from is not taking the picture itself."
