Covid, Germany: over 2 million total cases of contagion. The curve in China at its highest since March

The most affected country in the world is the United States. India and Brazil follow. Deaths drop in Great Britain, but over 1000 remain (ANSA)


The number of cases of infection from Covid-19 officially registered in the world since the beginning of the pandemic has exceeded 93 million, of which 51.3 million recovered.

This was announced by the American University Johns Hopkins, which also reports 1.99 million total deaths related to the new coronavirus.

The United States remains the most affected country in the world in absolute terms by Covid-19, with 23.2 million infections and 388,000 deaths.

India and Brazil follow.

The number of cases of contagion in Germany since the beginning of the pandemic has exceeded 2 million, of which 22,368 in the last 24 hours.

This was announced by the German Robert Koch Institute and the American Johns Hopkins University, according to which 1.64 million cases healed in the European country.

The resurgence of infections in China is 

worrying - China has reported the largest number of daily cases of Covid-19 in over 10 months.

According to the National Health Commission, yesterday's infections were 144, up from 138 on Wednesday, marking the highest number from 202 cases in the first;

March.

There are nine imported infections, while 135 domestic ones, of which 90 in the Hebei province surrounding Beijing.

Another 43 cases have been reported in Heilongjiang, with Guangxi and Shaanxi provinces reporting one each.
