in 2017, the singer returns in prime time on Rai1 with a new program between music and words: La musica che gira giro (title that pays homage to the song by Ivano Fossati), two special episodes on 15 and 22 January from Cinecittà Theater 1 World, rigorously without an audience in covid time: "the empty audience is unnatural, but safety comes first".
"It's a show that celebrates music and its value in our lives. Music revolves around us and never leaves us. The songs remind you of moments, born or finished loves, tastes, smells, places, like no other. art knows how to do ", explains Fiorella, who has called many guests to keep her company, a cast to be the envy of the Sanremo festival itself.
In the first episode: Claudio Baglioni, Alessandro Siani, Francesco De Gregori, Antonello Venditti, Giorgio Panariello, Marco Mengoni, Marco Giallini, Giorgia, Edoardo Leo, Andrea Bocelli, Sabrina Impacciatore, Achille Lauro, Gigi D'Alessio, Ambra Angiolini, Samuele Bersani , Flavio Insinna and Luciano Ligabue (Fossati instead declined the invitation, "I was unable to convince him").
Amadeus is also expected, as he has suggested, and for the second episode Zucchero has already been confirmed.
"There will be many duets, the most stimulating the one with Marco Giallini, but also many monologues that will address different topics, including current events", announces Mannoia.
And the reference, of course, is to the pandemic that has held the whole world hostage for months.
"The first wave gave rise to a sense of belonging in all of us. The second, on the other hand, devastated us: we are all with tense nerves, stuck for too long. By now, philosophical reasoning has given way to the need to survive" .
He also makes a passage about the situation in the US: "The American facts left us stunned. They were things we had always seen in films. Censorship in Trump? I have always been against censorship, but there are rules that must be respected" .
Returning to the show, the aim of La musica che gira giro will be to excite, make us reflect on ourselves, recall the most important memories of personal and collective stories.
"My model? - says the interpreter par excellence of Italian music, who would also gladly accept to return to film after a first experience with Michele Placido. - Obviously Mina. And in this new role, the artist also seems to have freed herself from the ties and snares in which she felt trapped.

The director of Rai1 Stefano Coletta, happy to propose this program on the flagship network "to react to this bastard time", defines her as "a woman with balls".
