The two surveys, which were conducted among vaccinators after the first and second doses, showed that the reason is that the adult immune system takes longer to develop antibodies and it responds slowly and gradually to receiving the vaccine.

Therefore, the symptoms are also experienced more easily and gradually.

A side effect survey conducted in recent weeks among about 72,000 vaccinated people in the first vaccine dose shows that about 24% reported side effects following the vaccine, of which, about 7.5% reported weakness, about 7% about muscle pain and about 6.5% about headaches. .

In addition, about 70% of them reported local pain at the injection site.

A survey of the first 600 vaccinators of the second vaccine dose found that about 70 percent of patients vaccinated with a second dose reported symptoms within 72 hours of receiving the vaccine.

Of those surveyed, about 45% reported weakness, about 40% about muscle aches, about 35% about significant fatigue, about 30% about headaches, about 20% about fever and about 10% about nausea and dizziness.

In addition, approximately 84% of respondents reported local pain at the injection site.

Maccabi CEO Ran Saar: "Even if you feel unwell for a day or two, the symptoms pass quickly and the vaccinators will soon be protected from the disease.

We see that the vaccinated public is very careful to arrive on time for the second dose and we welcome that.

"This is the way to eradicate the plague and according to the incredible rate of immunization we are seeing, Israel is undoubtedly on the right path to defeating the corona. Until that happens, we must continue to strictly adhere to the guidelines and prevent the increase in morbidity," he added.
