Joe Biden will sign his first decrees for the fight against the pandemic and aid to the economy as early as the Inauguration Day on January 20, just after taking office in the White House. His transition team made it known. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, JANUARY 16 - Joe Biden will sign his first decrees to fight the pandemic and help him with the economy already on the Inauguration Day of January 20, just seated in the White House after the oath.

His transition team made it known.


    There are a dozen decrees that will be passed immediately by Biden, at the latest within ten days.

As expected, it will be partly a question of rules that will abolish some of the more controversial measures of Donald Trump, such as the ban on entry into the US from some Muslim countries.

Vialibera then on the return of the United States in the Paris agreement on the fight against climate change and the program that allows to reunite families of separated immigrants on the border with Mexico.


    Among the provisions on the front of the fight against the pandemic is the obligation to wear a mask in federal properties and in travel between the US state and state.

Also expected to stop the evictions and the postponement of payments of loans contracted by university students.
