On January 23, the opera returns to the stage at La Scala, exactly eleven months after the lockdown on February 23 with Cosi fan tutti by Mozart, with no audience but streaming on the theater website and on Raiplay.

Concerts, streaming shows and works in concert form were performed in the opening moments.

Not even for the inauguration of the season on December 7th was an opera title staged.

For a Covid outbreak among the choristers, the scheduled Lucia di Lammermoor was canceled and replaced with the show of great opera stars 'A riveder le stelle ...' live on Rai1.

The rehearsals of Cosi fan tutti began at the end of December with Giovanni Antonini on the podium and a cast that includes Eleonora Buratto (Fiordiligi), Emily d'Angelo (Dorabella), Bogdan Volkov (Ferrando), Alessio Arduini (Guglielmo), Federica Guida ( Despina) and Pietro Spagnoli (Don Alfonso).

The staging is not new, but it is the one signed by Michael Hampe in 1982, with the sets by Mauro Pagano, qu taken by Lorenza Cantini.

The show broadcast live by RaiCultura on Raiplay, on the Rai Cultura site and the theater site will remain visible on Raiplay.
