These demonstrators gathered this Sunday on the Place du Trocadéro in Paris in a "march for life" against abortion.

“The message is to remind people that abortion is violence against women, a right to be gagged,” said Aliette Espieux, spokesperson for La Marche pour la vie.

✊🏻👶🏻 As always, I remain mobilized with @MarchePourLaVie because Life is not disposable, because the unborn child and its rights are violently attacked.

I was at #Paris place du Trocadéro for # MPLV2021.

Dressed in a “my body, my choice” sweatshirt.

My body, my right ”and with a“ pro-life generation ”mask, the young woman added that the majority of voluntary terminations of pregnancy (abortions) were“ distress abortions ”.

Framed by an important device of the police, the demonstrators gathered in front of a platform where a banner proclaimed "abortion: stop the culture of waste", in front of the square of the human rights.

Followed by 10,000 people on zoom

They are protesting against two bills which contain “scandalous” provisions according to the president of La marche pour la vie, Nicolas Tardy-Joubert, including the bioethics law which includes in particular the PMA for all.

They are also protesting against the bill extending the time limit for abortion from 12 to 14 weeks tabled by MP Albane Gaillot (ex-EDS) and voted on at first reading in the National Assembly with broad support from LREM and the left.

This bill must be considered this week in session in the Senate, with little chance of success.

Due to the health situation, the rally was coupled with a virtual mobilization on Zoom - followed according to the organizers by 10,000 people.

Before this demonstration, The Walk for Life had organized a visual communication campaign where we saw chicks about to be crushed with the comment: "crushing chicks, does that shock you?

U.S. too.

What about human fetuses?
