Relatives and friends of Fernando Báez Sosa (18), the young man murdered in Villa Gesell after being punched and kicked by a group of rugby players, carry out a solidarity act this Sunday in Rivadavia Park, in Caballito, to pay tribute to the victim to the one year after the crime.
The meeting was called for 10 in the morning and will last until 19 in that park located on Rivadavia avenue, a few meters from José María Moreno avenue.
The organizers asked those who attend to do so with all the security measures to avoid the spread of coronavirus, especially with the use of masks and avoiding the concentration of people.
"A year later, we honor their memory and solidarity by collecting non-perishable food and school supplies for those who need it most," says the statement with which the organizers called the collection, in which
Fernando's parents, Graciela Sosa and Silvino participate. Baez.

In addition, they requested to clean what is going to be donated, not to deliver donations in poor condition, since "whoever receives it must be able to use it in good condition."
"We decided to honor Fernando like that, as he was always supportive, we believe it is the best way to remember him, doing what he liked," said Graciela Sosa, mother of the murdered young man.
"We are going to be there all day with Fernando's friends.
Fernando was a very supportive boy
, very good, very friend, that's why we want to remember him like that," said Silvino Báez.
The man explained that all the proceeds will go to the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) "December 18" and to the charity works of the Marianist College, which Fernando attended.
Fernando's crime occurred in the early morning of January 18, when he was
attacked with kicks and punches by a group of rugby players outside
the "Le Brique" bowling alley, in the heart of Villa Gesell.
Hours after the event, ten rugby players from the Buenos Aires city of Zárate were arrested in a house a few blocks from the bowling alley where the young man was murdered.
Silvino Báez has been in Rivadavia Park since the beginning of the tribute.
