Fancy a creamy, fluffy chocolate dream as a dessert?
This chocolate mousse does not contain sugar and only needs three ingredients.

Mousse au Chocolat
is a dream dessert for many.
The only downer: the original recipe is unfortunately a decent
calorie bomb
.
Not exactly ideal if you want to keep your diet low in carbohydrates *.
Also, there are many recipes that use eggs that need to be separated.
Not so in our variant: You
only
need
three ingredients
, a hand mixer and a little patience - the chocolate mousse has to cool for a few hours in the refrigerator before it is fluffy.
The trick with this recipe is that refined sugar, which unfortunately is high in carbohydrates and calories, is replaced by the
sweetener erythritol
.
Erythritol has hardly any calories and does not negatively affect your blood sugar level.
It is also important that chocolate you use for the mousse: it should necessarily a
dark chocolate
to be having at least 70 percent cocoa content.

You need these ingredients for the chocolate mousse: low-carb recipe
Ingredients for two servings:
1 cup of whipped cream (200 ml)
25 g dark chocolate (70% cocoa content or more)
1 heaped tbsp erythritol (sugar substitute)

This is how easy it is to prepare the light mousse au chocolat without sugar
Put the
cream
in a saucepan and heat it on the stove over medium heat.
Roughly
chop the
chocolate
and add it to the
pan
along with the
erythritol
.
When all the ingredients have combined into a mass, let them cool and put them in the refrigerator for about three hours.
Then beat the chocolate cream with the hand mixer
stiff at the highest level.
Voilà: Your delicious
mousse au chocolat is
ready, but in a figure-friendly version without conventional sugar.
If you want to give your chocolate mousse
something
extra: wash an
organic orange
and grate some of the skin off.
Put this in the chocolate mixture before you refrigerate it.
This gives your chocolate mousse a great
orange flavor
.
To serve, you can either pour the mixture into small
glasses
or use an ice cream scoop to cut out balls and arrange them on plates.
Orange peel or berries can be used as decoration.
