(ANSA) - MILAN, JAN 18 - Stellantis debuts on the stock market at 12.76 euros.
The stock immediately jumped to + 2.78% (12.92 euros). The group, born from the merger of FCA and PSA, makes its debut in Milan and Paris while tomorrow will be the turn of Wall Street.
"We are very proud to be here today for the first day of Stellantis listing, a new company, a new beginning, a truly historic milestone for all of us who work for Stellantis."
Thus the president of the automotive group born from the fusion between FCA and PSA, John Elkann, greeted the group's debut on the Stock Exchange in a video message. "Stellantis - he adds - represents an extraordinary opportunity in this era of challenge and yet very exciting, of profound change for our industry. Its speed, its intensity and its energy is equivalent to what happened in its origins, at the end of the nineteenth century" (HANDLE).
