The "responsibility" of singing in Washington DC, during Joe Biden's inauguration, has Jennifer Lopez nervous. Look what A-Rod said.

On Wednesday, January 20,

Jennifer Lopez

will perform at

Joe Biden's

presidential inauguration

, and that is something that has her nervous, as revealed by the singer's fiancé.

Almost a year ago, JLo sent a message of female empowerment and migration at Super Bowl LIV, and days later, during an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Lopez broke down in tears as she remembered her show in the NFL final.

Undoubtedly, that Sunday, February 2, 2020, was extremely important for the Latin star, who now has a greater challenge in his hands, since he will accompany the new president of the United States on the night that will mark the beginning of his term.

"It has been a very crazy year for her. Many blessings, but when you think about a span of 12 months, she did the Super Bowl, the New Year and now the inauguration, it is incredible,"

Alex Rodriguez

said

in his recent appearance on ' The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon ', also remembering the end of the year show that Jennifer offered in Times Square, in New York.

Rodriguez, 45, revealed that Jennifer's performance at the presidential inauguration ceremony, following violent disturbances on Capitol Hill by supporters of outgoing President

Donald Trump

, had her more uneasy than other engagements.

"What's interesting is that she is more nervous with Washington DC because of the responsibility [it entails]," the former player said.

"She wants, more than anything, like all of us, to unite people, inspire them. Music and sports do it better than anything else," said the sports presenter.

Although Fallon tried to get Alex to share some details of the show that JLo will give tomorrow, he only commented the following: "He has [planned] something really great. You are going to be surprised. You are going to love it."

Tom Hanks

will host "Celebrating America," a 90-minute television program that will air live on every major network in the nation, on Wednesday at 8:30 pm ET / PT.

In addition to Jennifer Lopez, there will be the participation of great celebrities such as

Demi Lovato

,

Justin Timberlake

,

Jon Bon Jovi

,

Foo Fighters

,

John Legend

,

Bruce Springsteen

and

Ant Clemons

, while

Lady Gaga

will be in charge of singing the national anthem, to thus start the period of government of the new president.

'Celebrating America' will also feature comments from President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, who will be sworn in on the morning of the 20th in Washington DC

The presence of JLo makes a lot of sense, since she is one of the artists that tops the charts in the United States and internationally.

It should be remembered that, after Joe Biden's victory in the presidential elections, Jennifer turned to social networks to express her happiness when the results of the elections were announced.

"I am so happy this morning. Echoing the words of everyone who says that we are heading towards a better day, a more united country, I am only crying tears of joy," said the 51-year-old artist through a video shared on the

Stories

section

on Instagram.

"I hope we can all come together, love and appreciate each other. It is a new day," he added.

From the start of the Democratic campaign, Jennifer Lopez has shown her support and appreciation for the policies and the form of government that Biden wants to impose in the United States.

"For me, it is to unify the nation again. Get rid of this hatred," the singer said at the time, while referring to the importance of the Latino vote this year.
