One of the government officials in charge of designing the vaccination strategy in Israel said that the first dose of Pfizer is less effective than what the laboratory itself indicates and warned that it may not protect against new strains of the virus.

This was stated by Nachman Ash, who stated that many people became infected between the first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine.

According to the AJN Agency, the Ministry of Health of that country admitted that more than 12,400 people tested positive for coronavirus after receiving the vaccines.

This includes 69 people who received the second dose.

So far, more than 2 million Israelis have received the first dose of Pfizer and more than 400,000 the second.
